Our summer 2024 Teen Driver’s Education Program Dates in Saint Joseph, MO are, Program 1: June 3 - June 7, 2024 Program 2: June 24 - 28, 2024

The St. Joseph, MO program is open to residents of Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Missouri students must be 15 to 19 years old and have a Missouri instruction permit or license. Kansas students must be 16 to 19 years old and possess a valid Kansas permit or license.

DETAILS:

The St. Joseph, MO Program will offer two driver's education programs. The first program will begin on June 3, 2024 and the second will begin on June 24, 2024. Students receive 20 hours of classroom education, 12 hours of vehicle observation available and 6 hours behind the wheel instruction.  

The one-week classroom portion is conducted Monday through Friday and your child will attend either the June 3rd - 7th or June 24th - June 28th program. The June 3rd-7th program is a morning session only, 8 a.m. to 12 noon and the June 24th-28th program is afternoon session only, 1p.m. - 5p.m. Classes are held at Missouri Western State University. 

*Driving and observation times are scheduled by certified driving instructors outside of the classroom sessions. For Program 1 (June 3rd-7th) drive times will open on June 8th-June 30th, No Sunday, June 16th Fathers Day and Wednesday, June 19th Juneteenth (Holidays) and for Program 2 (June 24th-28th) drive times will open on July 1st-July 22nd, No driving on Thursday, July 4th (Holiday).

CLASS SIZE LIMITED TO 70 STUDENTS PER SESSION

A limited number of scholarships are available. Please contact the Council for more information. Must meet financial qualifications.

REGISTRATION:

Online registration is required for program. Registration is not complete until payment has been made.

Total Fee: $295.00

Payment can be made online when registering by credit/debit card or payment can be made in person at the Safety Council office at 3131 Frederick Ave, Suite 220, St. Joseph MO. In person payments may be in the form of credit/debit card, money order or cashiers check. Please no personal check or cash payments.

STUDENTS ARE NOT REGISTERED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.
